Introduction and Scope of Services
Introduction
Welcome to SaaS Savvy! These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services provided by SaaS Savvy, including but not limited to on-demand video-based courses, live cohort sessions, online course communities, and email newsletters (collectively, the “Services”).
SaaS Savvy is a business owned and operated by Alice Egan, a self-employed individual registered in Germany with a VAT number DE358126980. SaaS Savvy is not a GmbH or corporate entity; it is a sole proprietorship. By accessing or using any part of the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
Scope of Services
SaaS Savvy offers a comprehensive suite of educational resources and experiences designed to support professional growth. The Services include:
- On-Demand Course: A self-paced video-based course accessible upon purchase.
- Live Cohorts: Optional live sessions that provide interactive and collaborative learning experiences.
- Online Course Community: A space for discussion, networking, and resource sharing among participants.
- Email Newsletters: Optional subscription-based communications featuring updates, educational content, and other relevant information.
All Services are subject to these Terms, and additional policies may apply to specific features, such as the Privacy Policy or Community Guidelines.

Payments & Refunds
Payment Methods and Options
- SaaS Savvy offers two payment options for course enrollment:
- One-Time Payment: Pay the full course fee upfront.
- Payment Plans: Spread the course fee across [3 number of installments], as detailed during checkout.
- Accepted payment methods include credit cards and direct bank transfers. Payments are securely processed by the third-party payments processor Stripe.
Payment Plan Commitments
- By enrolling in a payment plan, you agree to complete all installment payments as outlined during checkout. Payment plans are not subscriptions and therefore cannot be canceled mid-term.
- If a payment fails, you will be notified and given 7 days to resolve the issue. If the payment is not resolved within this period, a second notice will be sent with an additional 7-day grace period.
- Failure to resolve the payment within 14 days may result in suspension of access to the course and community until the outstanding balance is settled.
Professional Development Budget
If your company is covering the cost of your course, you have two payment options:

Personal Payment with Reimbursement:
- You pay for the course upfront, and your employer reimburses you later.
- Upon payment, you will receive an invoice that you can submit to your employer for reimbursement.

Direct Employer Payment:
- Your employer can pay for the course directly via bank transfer.

Refund Policies
SaaS Savvy’s refund policy is structured to ensure fairness and transparency.
Note on "Access":
For the purposes of this refund policy, "access" means that a user has clicked into a lesson within the course, thereby gaining full visibility of its content. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Reading the lesson text.
- Clicking to play the video version of the lesson.
By accessing a lesson, the user has utilized the core content of the course, which constitutes use of the service under this policy.
Note on "Completion":
- Marking a lesson as "complete" is a user-initiated action that reflects their acknowledgment of finishing the lesson. However, a lesson may also be considered completed if the user watches the video or reads the text without formally marking it as complete.
Refund eligibility is based on the type of course purchased and the timing of your cancellation request.
On-Demand Course
- Eligible for a Full Refund:
- If you cancel within 14 days of purchase and have not accessed or completed any lessons of the course.
- Refunds Will NOT Be Granted:
- If you cancel after the 14-day period.
- If you access or complete any lessons of the course, even within the 14-day period.
Live Cohort Program
- Eligible for a Full Refund:
- Accessed or completed any lessons of the on-demand course, and/or
- Attended a live session.
- If you cancel within 14 days of purchase and have not:
- Refunds Will NOT Be Granted:
- If you cancel after the 14-day period.
- If you access or complete any lessons of the on-demand course, and/or attend a live session, even within the 14-day period.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to [email protected]. Once your cancellation is accepted, your access to the course, community, and any associated materials will be revoked.
Additional Notes
- Refunds will only be processed using the original payment method. Processing times may vary based on your payment provider.
- SaaS Savvy reserves the right to deny a refund if any lesson or module is accessed, as this constitutes use of the service, or if evidence of substantial course completion or community participation is found.
Information Collection During Purchases
When you purchase a course or service through SaaS Savvy, we collect certain information necessary to process your payment and grant you access to the purchased content. This includes:
- Your name and email address, used for account creation and communication.
- Your billing information, such as credit card details or bank transfer information, securely processed through third-party payment processors like Stripe.
- Other relevant purchase details, including the course or service purchased and the payment plan selected.
How We Use This Information:
- To process your payment and confirm your enrollment in the course.
- To provide you with access to the purchased content and related services.
- To send transactional emails, such as payment confirmations or updates about your course access.

Access to Services
Access Granted
- Access to the on-demand course and any associated materials begins immediately upon successful payment processing (for one-time payments) or the first installment (for payment plans).
- Access to the live cohort course, on-demand course materials, and any other associated materials begins immediately upon successful payment processing (for one-time payments) or the first installment (for payment plans).
- Access to the community begins immediately upon successful payment processing (for one-time payments) or the first installment (for payment plans).
Duration of Access
- On-Demand Course: Your access to the on-demand course content is unlimited unless terminated as outlined below.
- Live Cohort Program: Access to live session recordings, on-demand course materials, and other associated materials is unlimited unless terminated as outlined below.
- Community Access: Access to the course community is tied to your enrollment and will be revoked if you cancel or violate these Terms.
Conditions for Suspended or Revoked Access
SaaS Savvy reserves the right to suspend or revoke your access to the course, community, and other services under the following conditions:
- If you fail to resolve a payment issue within 14 days of notification.
- If you violate the Community & Behavioral Guidelines, including inappropriate behavior in the community or sharing course materials without authorization.
- If you cancel your enrollment and/or receive a refund.
Content and Usage
Types of Content
SaaS Savvy provides various types of content as part of its services, categorized as follows:
- Course Content:
- Videos, lesson text, quizzes, downloadable materials, and other educational resources provided within the on-demand course and live cohort program.
- Community Content:
- Posts, comments, and discussions created by participants within the SaaS Savvy course community.
- User-Generated Content:
- Contributions made by users, including feedback, assignments, or shared resources, posted during live cohorts or within the community.
Responsibilities for Creating, Sharing, or Posting Content:
- Originality: You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create or share is original to you or that you have obtained all necessary rights and permissions.
- Appropriate Use: You must not share content that is unlawful, offensive, or violates the rights of others. This includes but is not limited to copyrighted materials, defamatory language, or private information of third parties.
- Grant of Use: By posting content, you grant SaaS Savvy a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and share your contributions for purposes related to the operation and promotion of the course and community.
SaaS Savvy reserves the right to monitor, edit, or remove content that violates these Terms or the Community & Behavioral Guidelines.
Intellectual Property
All content provided by SaaS Savvy, including Course Content, Community Content, and related materials (collectively, the “Content”), is protected under copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Ownership of Content:
- SaaS Savvy retains full ownership of all Course Content and Community Content provided through its services.
- User-Generated Content remains the property of the user, but by posting such content, you grant SaaS Savvy a license to use it as outlined above.
License to Use Content
- SaaS Savvy grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Content solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- This license does not transfer ownership of the Content to you.
Prohibited Actions
- Sharing SaaS Savvy Content with others, including by distributing copies, screenshots, or downloads.
- Using Content for commercial purposes, training, or public presentations without prior written permission.
- Sharing your account credentials with others or enabling unauthorized access to the services.
Violations of these restrictions may result in suspension or termination of access to the services and may also lead to legal action.
Copyright Policy
Protection of SaaS Savvy Content
SaaS Savvy invests significant time and effort into creating high-quality educational content. All Course Content, including but not limited to videos, lesson text, downloadable resources, quizzes, and community contributions, is the sole property of SaaS Savvy.
- Limited License: By enrolling in a course, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Course Content for your personal and internal business use only. This license does not transfer ownership of the Content to you.
- Prohibited Use: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, share, or publicly display Course Content in any form, whether in part or in full, without prior written consent from SaaS Savvy. Unauthorized use of Course Content may result in account suspension, legal action, or both.
- Requests for Sharing Resources: If you wish to share your learnings or use Course Content for educational purposes, please contact [email protected] to request materials branded with SaaS Savvy’s logo.
Copyright Infringement Claims
SaaS Savvy respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects the same from its users. If you believe that your copyright or other intellectual property rights have been infringed by content available through SaaS Savvy, please follow the steps below.
How to Submit a Claim:
To notify SaaS Savvy of alleged copyright infringement, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Copyright Infringement” and include the following details:
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on our platform (e.g., URL or specific content name).
- Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement affirming that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information provided in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Misrepresentation and Accountability
Please note that under applicable law, you may be held liable for damages, including legal fees, if you knowingly make a false claim of copyright infringement. SaaS Savvy reserves the right to pursue legal remedies in such cases.
Community and Behavioral Guidelines
Guidelines
You agree not to use the course, live cohort sessions, community, or the website for anything illegal, shady, or outright prohibited under these Terms. Let’s keep it simple: don’t use the Course, Website, or anything related to SaaS Savvy in a way that could harm the Course, Website, Services, or the overall SaaS Savvy business and customers.
Specifically, you agree NOT to:
- Harass, abuse, or threaten anyone, or violate anyone’s legal rights.
- Violate any intellectual property rights belonging to SaaS Savvy or a third party.
- Upload, share, or spread any viruses, malware, or sketchy software that could harm someone else’s property.
- Engage in fraud or any dishonest behavior.
- Participate in or create any illegal gambling schemes, pyramid schemes, or anything similar.
- Publish or share anything obscene, defamatory, or otherwise harmful to someone’s reputation.
- Post or distribute content that incites violence, hate, or discrimination of any kind.
- Collect personal information about others without their consent or in a way that violates privacy laws.
Violations of Community Rules
SaaS Savvy fosters a respectful and supportive community. If you violate these Terms, including the Community & Behavioral Guidelines, SaaS Savvy reserves the right to:
- Remove your content, comments, or posts.
- Suspend or revoke your access to the course, community, or other services without a refund.
- Take any additional action necessary to maintain the integrity of the community.
Service Accuracy and Availability
SaaS Savvy strives to provide accurate, up-to-date, and high-quality content and services. However, we cannot guarantee that the information, materials, or features available through the Course or Website are always accurate, complete, or error-free.
Disclaimer for Inaccuracies
- Occasionally, the Course or Website may contain typographical errors, outdated information, or inaccuracies in descriptions, pricing, availability, or content.
- SaaS Savvy does not warrant that these errors will be corrected immediately or that the Course or Website will be free from omissions or inaccuracies at all times.
Right to Update or Correct Errors

Requirements for Creating Accounts

Right to Terminate Accounts for Violations
SaaS Savvy reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at its sole discretion if:
- You violate these Terms, including the Community & Behavioral Guidelines.
- You provide false, incomplete, or misleading information during account creation or use.
- Your account is used for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
In the event of account termination, you will lose access to the Course, Website, and any associated materials. Depending on the circumstances of the termination, refunds will not be granted.
Communications and Data Handling
