ABOUT ALICE 

Meet Your Instructor

Hi! I’m Alice Egan, SaaS Savvy founder and creator of the Speak Software, Sell Smarter course.

While working as Presales Solutions Consultant at Zendesk, I thrived advising Silicon Valley companies on our cloud-based software, API integrations, cloud platform, and any new tech thrown my way.

But the truth was … at the start of my tech career I didn’t know APIs from AWS!  I was anxious my lack of technical prowess would be exposed and I'd be labeled - dun dun - an imposter.

I thought learning to code would make me technical, but attempts at coding proved futile. Plus, coding didn’t help me understand customer problems, devise solutions, or tell value-led stories of software. It dawned on me I needed to be able to talk tech, not code it!

I pivoted, and took to scouring the internet to curate resources to teach myself SaaS and cloud technical concepts over code. This new approach reaped major benefits: I sold smarter, increased my win-rate, and got promoted. I even ended up in a new job using my methodology to uplevel technical competency across the entire Zendesk sales org.

Learning to talk tech took my career to new heights, brought me financial freedom, and ultimately led to me founding SaaS Savvy and building the Speak Software, Sell Smarter course.
