Meet Your Instructor
Hi, I'm Alice Egan, founder of SaaS Savvy. At Zendesk, I went from rookie Solutions Consultant to closing $1M+ deals with San Francisco tech companies and UK fintechs.
But at the start of my Presales career, I didnât know APIs from AWS! I was constantly anxious Iâd be exposed as - dun dun - an imposter. I was a college French major - how could I ever learn all this tech, let alone sell it to high-powered business execs?
I tried learning to code, but coding didnât give me the words or concepts to actually talk to customers about our software, platform, and API - i.e., my job as a tech sales professional
So I came up with Concepts Over Codeâa method for learning the history, words, and concepts to form a foundation for understanding all things âcloud.â Not only did I gain the confidence to actually talk about tech, I got that bigger picture view of the industry Iâd been missing that helped me elevate that damn conversation with my customers.
Concepts Over Code changed the game for me. I not only got promoted 3x in three years, but I got aligned to the companyâs most lucrative territories - SF and UK Fintechs. Learning to talk tech - not code it - also helped me:
